Lucrin Depot (Leuprorelin) 11.25mg Online
Lucrin Depot (Leuprorelin) is used in the treatment of advanced and/or metastatic prostate cancer. It is also used to treat central precocious puberty (a condition causing children to enter puberty too soon resulting in faster than normal bone growth and development of sexual characteristics), endometriosis (a condition in which the endometrium lining the uterus grows excessively and causes pain, heavy or irregular [periods], and other symptoms), treat anemia (lower than normal red blood cells count) due to uterine fibroids (noncancerous growth in the uterus). Lucrin Depot may be used for infertility, breast cancer, and before intra-uterine surgery.
Lucrin Depot, concomitantly with iron therapy, is indicated for the preoperative hematologic improvement of patients with anemia caused by uterine leiomyomata. Lucrin Depot may be added if the response to iron alone is considered inadequate. Recommended duration of therapy with Lucrin Depot (3.75 mg)/(11.25mg).
Lucrin Depot is contraindicated in women who are or may become pregnant while receiving Lucrin Depot due to its embryotoxic effects. It may cause fetal harm when administered to a pregnant woman. Therefore, a nonhormonal method of contraception should be used during treatment. Patients should be advised that if they miss successive doses of Lucrin Depot, breakthrough bleeding or ovulation may occur with the potential for conception. If a patient becomes pregnant during treatment, she should discontinue treatment and consult her doctor.
