Description

Slipin (Lamivudinum 3tc/Viramune/Stavudinum) 150mg Online

Slipin (Anti-HIV)  (Lamivudinum 3tc/Viramune/Stavudinum)  Lamivudinum is a nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI) with activity against Human Immunodeficiency Virus Type 1 (HIV-1) and hepatitis B (HBV). Lamivudinum is phosphorylated to active metabolites that compete for incorporation into viral DNA. They inhibit the HIV reverse transcriptase enzyme competitively and act as a chain terminator of DNA synthesis. The lack of a 3′-OH group in the incorporated nucleoside analogue prevents the formation of the 5′ to 3′ phosphodiester linkage essential for DNA chain elongation, and therefore, the viral DNA growth is terminated.

Viramune is a non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI) with activity against Human Immunodeficiency Virus Type 1 (HIV-1). HIV-2 RT and eukaryotic DNA polymerases (such as human DNA polymerases alpha, beta,
or sigma) are not inhibited by Viramune. Viramune is, in general, only prescribed after the immune system has declined and infections have become evident. It is always taken with at least one other HIV medication such as Retrovir or Videx. The virus can develop resistance to Viramune if the drug is taken alone, although even if used properly, Viramune is effective for only a limited time.

Stavudinum is a nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI) with activity against Human Immunodeficiency Virus Type 1 (HIV-1). Stavudinum is phosphorylated to active metabolites that compete for incorporation into viral DNA.
